India is privileged to be the host country for WDPAC 2023

WDPAC 2023 is commemorated annually to mark the Universal Children’s Day, marking the anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) by the UN General Assembly on this same date in 1989. At the core of the commemoration is raising the status of children’s rights, the empowerment of children and promoting their full participation in matters concerning their wellbeing.
The overall aim is to inspire action by reaffirming the collective commitment of diverse organizations working for children everywhere and to recognize their meaningful role in advocating for greater investments in children’s wellbeing.
