Objectives of the 2024 Women’s Day celebration:
•Organize a series of capacity building programmes to highlight the 2024 theme through the Ashram’s
partnership platform
•Presentation of the Kasturba Gandhi Awards 2024 to Rural Women Entrepreneurs
•Conduct a panel discussion with women entrepreneurs on the theme ‘Invest in Women – Accelerate Progress’
•Honour 57 women leaders who ensure food and nutritional security at the grassroots through Public
Distribution Shops (PDS) Integrated Child Development Services(ICDS)
•Organize Interfaith Prayers for Peace & curate Artistic Presentations by girls and women
•Convene young men and women, boys and girls for volunteering and community service
