7th Inter-generational Reflection and Dialogue in the Midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic
Dedicated to mark the Memorial Day of our Founder
‘Leaders multiply LEADERS!’
We invite you to the Inter-generational Reflection and Dialogue on ‘Rediscovering the Positive Sense of Peace and a Harmonious Way of Living’. Can this shared ethic of human solidarity be lived in the midst of this ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic? This moment together is an invitation to listen to one another and to share notes from leadership experiences, community and active peace-building efforts in our own communities and beyond. In unprecedented times like the COVID-19 Pandemic, or in everyday encounters, such dialogue creates an environment for reflection, mutual learning and re-commitment to action, active peace building and community cohesion.
From this current pandemic, this crisis, will we come out with a greater understanding of our interconnectedness? With an understanding that caring for the other, for each other, is really just an essential part of caring for ourselves, our humanity? This is the question we will place before the panel of this unique inter-generational dialogue. The Young and the Experienced will help us explore this question deeper. The individual leader has a role as much as a team in shaping our collective work for active peace building. ‘Leadership can be learnt’ and here is an opportunity to learn from one another!
This is the 7th edition of the ‘Leaders Dialogue’.
We dedicate this edition to our Founder Dr. M. Aram
who reminded us in his book ‘The Future of Mankind’:
Absence of war or violence is not real Peace. Absence of War is peace only in the negative sense of the term.
But in the positive sense of the term, peace means a harmonious way of living based on a shared ethic of human solidarity!
